07765_747851 is an artwork made from a phone and a motorised hammer. Every time a notification is received via the phone, the hammer is released, striking a tower of bricks and tiles.
Over the course of the exhibition, persistent digital interruptions are transformed into a physical force of destruction and erosion.

This work aims to question how we perceive interactions between the digital and physical world, and where the boundary between the two exists.
Inspired in making this piece after my own frustrations with notifications, the repetitive force asks the question; what damage can be done when the datastream never ends?
